One of the many benefits of providing multi-service packages is the ability of the Contract Management Team to use its dedicated staff in the most effective and efficient manner. We call this the 'Incident of Interest' process, where by no matter the discipline, individuals are trained and empowered to undertake duties across each discipline. For example, engineering staff may show visitors to agreed destinations, cleaning staff may change lamps/lights and security staff undertakes tours of the technical services.
The approach engenders a 'Team Spirit' and results in all disciplines working together. It also reduces manning levels as duplication of resource covering the same ground is minimised.
That 'Bundled Services' approach therefore helps to realise hidden synergies and provides additional cost saving potential which could not be unleashed through single service line provision and at the same time offers the opportunity to upgrade the quality of the management team driving the performance on site level. |
