Yearley, then CEO of Jones Lang La Salle's EMEA IFM business, told delegates at Workplace Futures 2008 that a new market was set to burst on the scene, one in which major corporates would outsource property and facilities services across multiple countries. The bigger winners would be a handful of real estate and FM specialists such as JLL and CBRE.
But now, as International Director at MITIE and TFM Director at the MITIE jv SMI, Yearley's message is all about the rise of the service provider. Have things really changed so fundamentally in a matter of months? They certainly have, he says.
